She is the mother of two adult children and has been married to her high school sweetheart for over thirty years.   While raising her children, Lisa earned a BA from Syracuse University in 1986 and graduated magna cum laude with an MBA in 1996. She was a Controller with Electronic Arts and the University of Virginia Credit Union and a financial analyst with General Electric. Lisa received her master's degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University in 2009 and will attain licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in 2011.   She is the author of Lost, Found and Forgiven: How One Mother Prevailed Against Teenage Rage and Brought Her Daughter Home Again,  which chronicles her deeply personal and protracted struggle with a self-destructive teenager and provides the context for her practice.
